Joseph Spina is a Vice President and Financial Advisor at Northeast Private Wealth Management. In his role, Joseph focuses on deeply understanding client’s goals and needs, and establishing tailored financial plans to achieve them. Joseph also contributes to the Investment Team’s research efforts, focusing on Alternative offerings and differentiated strategies.
Prior to joining the firm, Joseph spent the last seven years in the Investment Management industry as a Regional Investment Consultant with BNY Mellon Investment Management. At BNY, he was responsible for consulting Barron’s Top 100 Financial Advisors on the current economic and market environment, as well as the firm’s vast array of investment solutions including mutual funds, SMAs, private equity and private credit deals.
Joseph graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. He later earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst CIMA® designation from Yale School of Management, and is a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute. He currently holds the Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.
Joseph resides on the North Shore of Long Island, and is passionate about organizations close to his heart- supporting the Army Ranger Lead the Way Fund as well as the Alzheimer’s Association. He always remains active- whether that be playing golf, skiing, or running in a charitable event with the Lead the Way Fund.
